I believe Mousedesk is the same as the 5.25" version of Apple 2 Desktop,
the 3.5" version just adds a few accessories. It does have a secondary
launching system, which may be related to Appleworks, but I've never
really tried to figure it out.
For some reason, I think that Mouseworks was just a GUI-based word
processor (like Beaglewrite)... but I could well be wrong.

I have a MicroDrive card with a ~150MB IDE drive in 22 meg partitions.
I've found that copying multiple files with A2Desktop can lead to volume
directories becoming corrupted. Nothing Prosel couldn't fix, but
worrisome none the less.

A2Desktop keeps the internal floppy spinning constantly for some
reason... not sure if that can really cause any damage, but it seems a
bit dodgy to me.
