You already know of Byte as a general-computing magazine that covered the
Apple II. A couple of my favorite games came from the pages of Byte.
Another such magazine was Micro, which was a 6502 journal and had a lot of
really good Apple stuff in it and was a gold mine of info for programming
the 6502. When I got into the Apple II game in 1980, I considered Micro and
Nibble to be my primary sources, pretty much in that order at first, though
Micro faded over time.
