: Around here people seem to think old Mac's are made of gold...
: one of the local junk shops has an LC475 priced at $150 while
: much newer and more capable PCs go straight to the trash. When
: I asked the store owner about it he seriously claimed it was
: the ideal computer for "doing graphics"..I picked up an
identical
: unit at Value Village for $10 ;-)
: Here's a trick that seems to work... if you spot an Apple II in
: a pawn shop that you're interested in, find an excuse to "pop
the
: hood" then shake your head sadly and say it's a shame the hard
: drive is missing..probably get a few bucks knocked off the
price :)
That is interesting. The only things I found around here were:
A boxed copy of Flight Simulator for Apple II and
a boxed Commodore 64 with all that comes with it.
Later seeing them on eBay going for less than what
I paid the GoodWill, I have decided that I'll stick
with eBay. 8)
