Re: Some (Other) IIgs questions
Hi Bill,
Here's what I've tried:
1 - IIgs -> Zip (terminated here, no other devices on chain) : works
fine
2 - IIgs -> NEC 4x (terminated here, no other devices on chain) : does
not work
3 - IIgs -> Zip -> NEC 4x (terminated here) : Zip works, CD-ROM does
not
I'll have to get another cable to try the (IIgs -> NEC -> Zip) config.
I may have to get it custom built; no one seems to carry the (narrow
50-pin <-> SCSI-1 25 pin) cables around here any more.
I also have an Apple CD150 drive, but I don't have a Centronics-style
terminator or cables for it, so I can't swap the CD-ROM drives.
