Tony, sounds like you're describing an AE GS-Ram Plus that has a capacity 
of 6MB when filled with forty-eight 1Mbx1 DIP drams.  The 4MB GS-Ram III 
takes eight 1Mbx4 drams in ZIP package to fully populate it.
