Ok, here's an update. I got Synchronet to work initializing the modem. The question remains if I could create a program to dial out to a pager, enter a code like "007", then hangup and go back to the wait for call screen. My GS hard drive light doesn't come on anymore, but the GS does *not* scan for available drives like it should. I don't know why it does that. dj_lx
