So you think that a lot of Apple //e owners would be willing to
pay $150 to do this?

Sneakernet works pretty well, and my other computers are
already well networked.  The question is whether the _incremental_
benefit of networking a //e using Ethernet is worth the incremental
cost, considering that there is _now_ no supporting software.

Certainly, the existence of sufficient supporting software for the
card would increase the benefit without significantly increasing
the cost (if free, or nearly so), and so would make it a more
appealing proposition.
