The LANceGS Card run off ten years ago? Bill, where have you been....
I believe that LANceGS Ethernet card was only introduced like less than 2
years ago. One has to keep in mind that this card is not a high volume
run, and considering the small market of potential buyers for this card,
the price is actually quite reasonable. I doubt the guy is even making any
profit on it. Also keep in mind that he is in Germany, and I would hazard
a guess that it would be even more expensive to do short runs of boards
over there than here in North America.
It's just a one man operation, doing the labour for the love of the Apple
II platform. We should consider ourselves lucky whenever someone produces
any hardware for the Apple II platform these days.
