That's a toss-up really. The longer you run it the
more chance there is of the regular supply having
a problem when there is a heavy load on it, but if
you don't use it that much you will probably be ok.
If I can get my buddy to pass me the link again,
there is a place selling the HD supply for $15.
I think the shipping was like $5, but not sure now.
Let me ask him.
