Since my first post I've installed AppleShare on the IIgs using the script
from the install disk and confirmed that my Mac is configured and that the
cabling works by connecting it to another Mac. However, I get an error
message when I connect it to the IIgs:
The selected AppleTalk connection could not be found. Be sure it is
installed and that the slot settings in the control panel are correct.
At this point I'm stuck--I'm pretty sure I've tried every variation of slots
and cabling possible. I thought it might be conflicting with another piece
of hardware (e.g. Zip GS) so I tried setting the system speed to normal, but
still no luck.
Any suggestions about what to try next?
Thanks,
- Mike
