It's used in iBooks but it'll still use more than Apple says is
available to the slots. The IIgs hardware Reference says
The total power supply current available for all seven expansion slots
is
500 mA at +5 volts
250 mA at +12 volts
200 mA at -5 volts
200 mA at -12 volts

I suspect there isn't anything that falls within those specs but beefingup the power supply to the slots isn't a big deal.
