...I have noticed that if you hot-swap the mouse on a Macintosh, the mouse
tracking setting gets FUBAR. I tend to use the fastest mouse tracking
speed, and when you plug in the mouse, it starts moving at the *slowest*
tracking speed. Opening the MOUSE control panel (which will indicate your
preferred setting, not the "real" setting) and changing the setting, then
changing it back again will fix it.
I don't remember how the IIgs handles mouse swapping, it's been so long
since I tried it.
I just wish I could use my GS keyboard on my MDD-2XG4 Mac, though. The
Apple Pro Keyboard on that thing, to put it nicely, sucks. Plus, it has
its control key in the wrong place, a situation only partially fixed with
uControl...
