Agreed. But the cable is probably OK, since DOS 3.3 worked when
he ran it, and the RAM chip whose socket the DIP jumper goes in is only
connected through this cable. He would have had to replace the chip if
he had removed the cable when he took the card out of slot 0.
More likely, something is wrong with the 16K card memory or decoding
(like bank select)--so I also agree that he should try another 16K card.
