You might be better off getting the IIGS in Britain. It'll save you a bundle on
postage, added risk of damage during transit and possible disappointment that it
might not work, as you can't visit the owner to psychically see it working.
Another possible problem is power supply using a different voltage which may
require the separate purchase of power converter and keyboard would be missing the
British pound symbol. Also, if comes with a hard drive, the installed System
software is for the wrong country.
Try posting some wanted advertisings in local newspaper, trade publications, etc.
Or visit learning centres (like Kip McGrath - if exists in UK?) or schools that
still use them and are in the process of upgrading to newer computers. I am sure
somebody will have one for you. Good luck!
