Well, I do, but if Visual isn't part of the name (or Synon), then the
programmers where I work won't look at it!!

Actually, that's maybe finally changing..  We've hired at least one guy who
actually looks at and reads code.  And he's not just a VB programmer or a
Synon programmer..  He's a programmer who happens to be able to program in
several languages!!
(I realize, that shouldn't be a big deal, but it is.  I got in a huge ..er..
discussion with a guy a work.  I told him that he was a programmer who used
VB, but... He cut me off and said, "No, I'm a VB programmer, and that's all
I do.."  Scary..  And managers jump when he says he needs something..  Hence
the W2K terminal servers I mentioned above to fix poor performance in a
field office, rather than changing his Access database calls to pull only
the data when needed.. Or maybe using DB2 on the 400 instead of access..  Or
better yet Web based for that..  er.. sorry.. I think I'm drifting... where
was I?? :-)
