Welp, I should have time for this tomorrow. I picked up DB9 and DB25
gender-benders, an ohm-meter to see exactly how the mini DIN 8 to DB25
cable is wired, an rs-232 breakout box and the //c+ technical
reference manual. I'll check out the pin configuration you posted
previously.
I've also got a Platinum //e with a Super Serial Card - still have to
set it up (just got the //e from eBay).. but if I remember from my
teen-age days, a regular DB25 modem cable with a null-modem adapter
will work fine with the Super Serial Card, so long as the SSC is set
up right (dip switches.)
