I thought of getting a whole machine, but at the moment, my budget is 
limited (read, virtually $0) - I won't be able to convince my wife I 
"need" any more computer gear/junk at the moment when we're fairly 
severely space limited.

I actually meant the connector on the keyboard for connecting the mouse 
to. I may be able to solder the connecter, as the original owner 
suggested that might fix it, I've just not gotten around to it and I was 
feeling lazy last night after rummaging through all those boxes :)

Darn it! really should look on eBay more often. I forgot to mention that 
they're PFS:File files. I've seen some of the PFS word processor 
translaters around, should try them with my database files.

Unfortunately, I don't have the space to have my //e and IIgs set up and 
operational at the moment, so it's quite a task to actually play with 
them. I have to content myself with emulators for now.
