I can't help you with boot manager solutions.
I don't use 3.3 programs very often. When the need does arise I just
enter basic.system and type pr#6. The system speed will still need to
be set or left in normal.
Also if your intent is just a quick game, if you hold down the '8' key
when powering up you will be booted directly (quickly) into 8bit basic
where you can type pr#6 to start the 3.3 disk.
If you just drag the basic.system icon to your desktop it is a pretty
painless way run a dos3.3 session.
