I priced it tonight at 120 pages, the approximate cost would be:
-    $9.60 to photocopy the manual at 8 cents/page
-    $52.50 to scan the manual to a PDF
-    $242 to scan the manual with OCR

Hmmm... this gives me an idea for a computer services company. :-)
