I was shocked to hear that a local thrift store disposes of donated older
machines, includeing Apple IIs. "Everyone wants something they can go on the
internet with," the guy said. I made sure to leave my number with a request
to call in the event an old comp finds its way there. Hate to see another
Apple II end up in the dumpster.
