<< Help! I'm trying to connect an Imagewriter II to my PC.
An old msg suggested using the C. Itoh 8510 printer driver
& switching to "Xon/Xoff". I can make up a cable,( I have both the
mini DIN w/ 8&4 connected & not connected). The IW II Tech ref manual
shows mini-DIN to DB25 but NOT to the DB9. So far all my trials are
getting NO reaction from the printer (a loopback jumper at the end of
the DB9 cable from the pc appear to respond 'correctly'.
How do I wire from the 8-pin mini-DIN to the DB9 ? >>
