True that, but I'm told that there are only so many read/write operations
allowed to a bit before that part of the card fails and becomes unusable.
Is that true? About how many operations does it take? I'm really attracted
to the idea of a CF drive on my IIgs, but not if running apps off it
regularly will cause it to die in a year from overuse. My ancient SCSI
drives are still doing just fine, moving parts and all.
What is the MTF for a heavily-used CF card?
