I can understand why this would have an impact on Finder windows, but
is it reasonable to think that it would also impact the text windows
inside an application? When I move the mouse over the code window
inside Orca/C, the mouse will sometimes erase any text the pointer
moves over until I move the window, which forces a repaint event.
At any rate, I do have a logical grouping of file types on my HFS
drive. They're just all under a folder called "Program Files".
That's where you'll see "Utilities", "Games", etc. I like grouping
apps by function like that, but I don't especially like having a
desktop filled up with drive icons.
