Hi Roy,
RGB daughter card:
That particular card worked fine on a Apple IIgs RGB. I had another that always
displayed with a red shift, but that one showed color correctly
Sorry I do not have a manual so as to operating on a IBM tube;
unknown...Wayne? oh master of manuals... have one?
On the Phasor: I have had good luck runing sound cards in a GS in slot 4. I
have not set it to anything special on the control panel. I think it doesn't
realy care. as to in a IIe I again am not sure as I only tried it in a GS. I
have not forgotten
Forgotten! Ha! I forgot who I got them from! :-)
I have the RGB in one of my platinum //es, and I'll try either slot 7 or
slot 5 for the Phasor. This machine has the AE power supply, and it
needs it! I have a a RAMWorks III with a meg of RAM and the RGB card, a
Workstation card, a Transwarp, mouse card, and, at the moment a Unidisk
3.5 card, 5.25" card and a CMS SCSI card.
I'll have to pull one of the drive cards, or, while installing on a
harddrive, keep switching back and forth from 3.5 to 5.25, then pick one.
Do I need to use powered speakers with the Phasor?
I'm going to load up one of my Franklin 2000s with another Transwarp,
and Echo II card, and, if it works right, another SCSI card. The 2000 is
supposed to only have two slots but there is a third on the side which
is labeled slot 5, so I'll see if I can use 5.25 drive card in it, and
if that works, I'll put a card in that slot too.
about software and am still looking for those disks to
shrink and send. Spring should make for a general cleaning time in my computer
dungeon and they may turn up.
Sounds great! Thanks.

Does it matter how the dip switches are set on the RGB daughtercard if
I'm going to use an IBM digital RGB monitor, or an Apple analog monitor?
Is there any particular slot that the Phasor card should be put into?
Thanks.
