Well, as the Publisher of Harmonie, I'll add my 4 cents...

When I first got my LaserJet, I talked to Harmonie author Bill Heineman to
ask his advice on which parallel card to purchase. His answer was short
and to the point: "I use an AE Parallel Pro."

That was good enough for me, as I figured Bill know more about the subject
than anyone. And, that was 10 or 11 years ago, and I've never had a moment
of problems with the AE parallel card.

Now, we are talking about a conversation from about 10 years ago, so I
can't quote exactly what Bill said, but in essence, he said that a
parallel connection just acts as a "pass through" for the data. Not to put
words in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure what Bill was trying to tell me is
that it didn't matter which parallel card you use with Harmonie.

Drivers are provided in Harmonie for the following parallel cards:

Apple Parallel
EpsonAPL
FilePort
FingerPrintG
GrapplerPlus
IIPrint
MerceyParallel
ProGrappler
and the catch-all ParallelCard

When you're ready to purchase Harmonie and/or Pointless, you can click on

and go to my Kagi site where you can purchase the software using a credit
card.
