I am trying to modify an Apple Super Serial Card for use with my C64.
(Please no flames!!) So far it is working except the baud rate is messed up.
The Super Serial card has a crystal that is 1.8432Mhz and the schematic I am
using as a reference for building this project calls for a 3.6864 Crystal,
witch is twice the speed/frequency. I noticed to the right of the crystal on
the super serial card there some jumpers labeled X1, X2,X4,X5 etc....
Can I play with those to increase the frequency going to the 6551? If
anybody can supply docs and schematics for this card I would greatly
appreciated it! I have had no success on the web so far.....
