You want my honest opinion?

For my tasks, DOS is it but I'd like to roll my own OS.  l33to-h4x0rs
be damned ;) If I knew how to write my own OS, I'd have Biohazard out
the door.  Basically it would have been a cross between MS-DOS and
ProDOS. (!!!)

The king of graphical environments, IMHO, is GS/OS :D
