As part of my computer-controlled beer fridge project, I needed a way to
talk to Dallas Semiconductor's 1-Wire devices on my II+. This package is
the result. It serves the same purpose as the C software presented in
application note #126, but is written in assembly language to get the
precise timing needed. A sample application (written in BASIC) that
displays temperature from a DS18B20 is included, along with a description of
a simple circuit (only 3 components) to connect 1-Wire devices to the 16-pin
joystick port of a II, II+, IIe, or IIGS.
This package is offered under the GNU GPL. Enjoy. :-)
