A router isn't a tool for beginners. There are lots of other, more basic
tools that one would master first.

The problem with this approach becomes obvious the moment you try to
teach a beginner how to use an MCU designed by and for experts. The
knowledge gulf is simply too large.
It wasn't that long ago that there *were* MCUs designed for beginners.
Thousands of beginners bought them, and used them, and mastered them.
They became today's computer experts.
