Well, I don't have the burner, but I appreciate the offer.  (If it
weren't for you, I'd not have half the manuals for some of this
stuff).

In the utilities, the drive shows up in the "SCSIUtils" menu, where
you select a device for partitioning and whatnot.  But nothing shows
up in the Volumes area when a CD is inserted.  It's active, AFAICT,
too.

I've told my friend of this problem, and I'm probably going to end up
holding onto the unit.  Even though it won't read CD-ROMs, it'll be
useful in an Apple IIe with a ProDOS-formatted HDD. :)
