Yeah- but they might as well be typing up their school work and looking
things up on the net. It takes some effort to find a printer or even a
ribbon for a printer that will work with the Apple II.  Sorry, but kids
should be using the same kind of computer that they'll use at school, and
Apple II's are pretty much gone. The last one around here went a couple of
years ago. The keyboards were thrashed and the power supplies were dying.
They pulled the plug.
Giving a kid an Apple II is like giving them a horse to ride to school.
Of course horses still have their place, and are greatly valued by their
owners, but kids don't ride 'em to school any more.
