The ROM is for the 100mb Vulcan. It'll work with my currant 40mb drives but I'm hoping to use it with a larger and newer drive. A drive with cache should give me an effective speed increase. But I can't try out a larger drive until I get a newer version of the Vulcan Partition Manager as my version won't recognize the controller with this EPROM installed. I believe I've used a IIgs ROM equiped controller with a IIe Vulcan but that was likely 3 years ago so I'm not completely sure. When I next come across that particular IIe I'll try it. Wayne
