I'm an Atari 8 bit user myself.  I didn't post my question in
comp.sys.atari.8bit because I know nobody has ever tried it before in the
Atari 8 bit scene.  There is no picture on the site you mention, but I guess
when you say card it means you have to plug it into some kind of Apple2
specific connector, which the Atari obviously doesn't have.  Since the
computer eyes hardware I've seen in pictures looks very small, I believe it
should be possible to recreate it.  Man I'ld love to have some means of
digitizing pictures.  I even have a USB webcam which I specially bought for
my Atari. Schematics for a USB interface are available, but no software for
the time being.
