With a 1 MB RAM card in a ROM 1 machine you only have 1.25 MB of
memory total.  While this is enough to actually load GS/OS if you use
an extremely small program launcher (definitely not the Finder), you
can't do anything useful with it.

System 6.0.1 requires 1.5 MB of RAM minimum, I believe, and you are
better off with 2 MB or more.
