I once sold a IIgs to a guy in Japan.  He paid me $600 for the computer and
then threw in $400 on top of that for the shipping.  He was very happy to
pay that much.  He said that Apple computers are extremely hard to get in
Japan and if I would go to the trouble of shipping the whole system to him,
he would gladly make it worth my while.  He later paid me another $500 for a
bunch of Apple II magazines.  The guy was really hard-up for Apple II stuff.
Wish I still had his address...maybe this bidder on ebay is the same guy...
