Fortunately i got a bunch of spare pens in different colours as well.
I don't know of a full manual, but Apple's knowledge archive has the following articles in it:
Apple Color Plotter and Apple Writer Interface
Apple Color Plotter: Configuring it to an Apple IIe
Apple Color Plotter: Product Description (Discontinued)
Apple Color Plotter: AppleSoft BASIC Chart Maker II (1 of 3)
Apple Color Plotter: Using it with a IIc
Apple Color Plotter: Pinouts & Switch Settings
Apple Color Plotter Pen Sources
Apple Color Plotter: Configuration Table
Apple Color Plotter: Compatibility
Just do a search for Color Plotter at http://karchive.info.apple.com/
