Well, FWIW, the Applicard works well in a IIgs with a Zip accelerator
blazing away.

Sort of changing topics, I also bought a few CP/M MS clone cards recently
(Atlaz). They work fine.

For grins I compared Turbo Pascal compile times for an Applicard @ 4MHz in
a IIgs vs a Microsoft clone in 2e. It came out to 90 seconds vs 120
seconds.  Useful conclusions are clouded by the large amount of time
constraining I/O - but it still fun.
