Hi. I recently purchased an older PowerMac(7300/200) to read and write
prodos disks. When I bought this one, I knew that only certain models
can use prodos disks, but i couldn't find any info as to which
model(s) I should be looking for.

Well, generally the PowerMacs aren't good in making (bootable!) ProDOS disks, and pre-PPC Macs are. I've found the drives in 68k PowerBooks to be especially tolerant.

ps: This is my first Mac and I'm amazed at how similar MacOS is to
GS/OS.......even 9.2.2!!!! The GS really was ahead of its time in
more than one way!!!

Hmhm, more like 'ahead afterwards', since the GS came out three years after the Lisa. It was a good little 'tour the force' though, even if only the original MouseDesk (from France) attains something like usable speed on a GS, imho.

PS. Try to get the demo of 'Sword of Sodan' for the GS and *really* be amazed :)
