Exactly!  I actually posted a follow-up message last night, but I
think my ISP dropped the article because I referenced (too many?)
URL's in it.  I found out that Kingdom is actually a remake of the
game Hammurabi.  I found source code for the game all over the place,
even as a script in a web page that you can play online.

But I would still love to get a copy of the Apple // version of the
game, called "Kingdom", preferably in a .DSK file for an emulator, or
as an AppleSoft Basic listing I can re-enter.  It just seems to me
that the Apple // version was slightly more sophisticated than the
original version, originally published in Creative Computing in the
early 70's.
