That sounds reasonable. However, there is one angle that I want to check
out. I mentioned the problem to my mother, and she said that the school
she works for has a room with some old stuff in it gathering dust. She
thinks it's mostly old mac stuff, but she's going to ask the technology
girl there if they have any old IIGS monitors. Unfortunetly the school
year doesn't start until next Tuesday, so she's not going to be able to
ask until at least wednesday or thursday because the first few days are
always hectic with all the computer problems that materialize over the
summer.

I'm posting this for the other two people that responded privately via
e-mail. Now let's hope that by giving my computer illiterate mother the
manuel with a nice, big full color picture of what I need that she'll come
up with the right thing and not bring home an EGA monitor or something
else incompadible ;-).
