It's been so long that I don't recall how I did it. It wasn't
all that long after I got it that I acquired a hard drive for my
IIe and had to hunt up a non copyprotected version. A friend
happened to have one. He related to me that when he bought MultiScribe
he had the option of buying a copyprotected version at the regular
price or a non copyprotected version at a higher price.
I'd suggest instead that you download a non-copyprotected version.
Another option is BeagleWrite. Beagle Bros. bought MultiScribe and
renamed it.
