Hello,
I am trying to mount DOS 3.3 disks in GS OS 6.0.1 on my Apple IIGS. I
have installed the DOS 3.3 FST, however, when I attempt to mount the
disks, the drive starts spinning and never stops untill I eject whatever
DOS 3.3 disk I may have inserted. If I do not eject it then it just sits
there for minutes without doing anything. When I eject it I get the
message:
"Using the installed File System Translators, GS/OS does not recognize
this disk (indevice .APPLEDISK5.25A). Do you want to initialize it?"
I know these disks are good because I am able to boot to them, but they
refuse to mount.
Also, if I click "initialize" just because the button is there(not that
I'm going to erase my games), I find that DOS 3.3 isn't even an option
even though I've installed the FST.
Am I doing something wrong? I have the DOS3.3 loader installed on my
IIGS's hard drive and I want to copy the games I have on DOS 3.3 disks to
my hard drive.
