Trouble creating an AppleShare ProDOS volume

Thanks David!!

I don't know why I wasn't seeing that. I just BYE'ed from Basic and tabbed
to the local drive, to ShrinkIt, and pressed return which ran ShrinkIt which
could then see the network volume properly.

I have two additional issues:

1) While I can copy a ProDOS application (ShrinkIt e.g.) from a local drive
to the server and can see it in the ProDOS directory tree, when I select it,
it fails to run and just reloads the view of the same tree. Is that
expected behavior, that I can copy but not run ProDOS apps copied to the
AppleShare Mac volume? I thought it might be normal behavior, so . . . .
(on to question (2))

2) I have a second drive on the Mac which I partitioned as a ProDOS volume
and a HFS volume. When I start up the server, I get a message as follows:

"The volume "PRODOS' could not be prepared for use with AppleShare"

So I went back and tried to selectively install the AppleShare Apple II
Setup v.2.2 on to the ProDOS volume. This gets me the message that "The
selected disk PRODOS" is damaged. Please select a different disk."
Reinitializing, repartitioning etc. fails to fix this, and there is nothing
damaged about the disk. Still, to eliminate hardware as a cause, I subbed
in another working hard drive and got the same result.

I'm not sure what any of this means, but assume that if I am to run ProDOS
apps from the server , I should have a functioning shared ProDOS volume on
the server which I do not seem to be able to create.

Any help would be appreciated.
