Having lots of the old magazines is also a good idea; they had plenty of
ideas to draw upon.  I have every Nibble from November 1985 (four months
after I got my first IIe) until they ceased publication; every once in a
while, someone will unload his stash in comp.sys.apple2.marketplace (or
maybe even on eBay) for a pittance.  (Nobody ever has the older issues; I'd
like to snag those sometime, as Nibble began publication in 1980.)
