An alternative to your plan is to obtain a Laser disk controller for your
II+. It will enable your II+ to read the files directly from a 3.5 drive
(assuming you have 64K in your II+, that is.) I have one on my II+ and it
works fine.
Another possibility is to obtain a super serial card and set up a serial
link to your "online" computer. Although I do not know what telecom software
you could use on the II+ side.
