I would go with the Image Writer II. I have both the IM II and the Okidata
82a, and the Image Writer is a much easier printer to setup and work with on
a daily/regular basis. Also, the Oki is black ink only, where the IM II is
color. In fact, it's the only color dot matix printer that I have.

What were some of the other color dotmatrix printers available then?
