Re: Mousecard HW question...
I had a mouse card that was not recognized,
I replaced the 74LS245 chip (buss transceiver as I recall).
That fixed the problem.
Cut out the part by cutting the IC leads.
Remove pins individually and suck out solder from holes.
Install a IC socket.
Install new chip.
