I think there is another program that does use the joystick port to transfer
files. It's mentioned in the same section of the faq as ADT.
However, ADT uses the serial port. On the IIgs you have two, one with a
picture of a phone and one with a picture of a printer.

I'm sure they are, but I pick them up cheap at thrift shops, like Goodwill,
St.Vincent De Paul,  and the Salvation Army. Those are good sources of Apple
II computers, parts, and software also.
