WARNING Folks !
It has been reported that a "recycler" sold drives on http://www.ebay.com
under the title "Rare Apple II 3.5 external drive". These drives are supposed
to be tested in read mode.
In fact some of these drives have been bought and tested, they are not working.
It's impossible to insert a floppy inside because of a bad mounting of the
drives in the cabinet (screws are even missing).
More, they are not "Apple II" drives, they have a connector that is not
compatible with the original Apple II or II+ controller and they even don't work
on an Apple IIc.
The ad on ebay is ABUSIVE, they are not Apple II drives. Maybe Apple IIgs but
certainly not Apple II drives.
Crooks write anything to sell their shit ...
