That is pretty much it. In my particular case I'm using Intel PC
based Linux and just about all of the distributions of Linux come with
everything you need (Lynx, Pine, Tin, FTP, SSH, Telnet, etc.). All
you need to do is configure Linux to connect to you ISP (Slip, PPP,
Cable or DSL) and run Linux's serial terminal software (getty or
agetty).
I almost always use real Apple II's to conduct my Wednesday night
RTC's (Real Time Conference or online chat) from Syndicomm.com's Apple
II Forum. Talking to other people about getting the most from your
Apple II's, using Apple II's just seems right!
